UPON INSPECTION, NO EVIDENCE OF OVERHEATING WAS FOUND. TECHNICIANS CHANGED THE #2 MAIN BATTERY ON MOUNTAIN AVIATION WORK ORDER MTN-10923. THE CREW ABORTED TAKE OFF AND SUBMITTED THE FOLLOWING AML - M230566: SMOKE IN CABIN AND COCKPIT ON TAKE OFF. UPON INSPECTION AND TROUBLESHOOTING, TECHNICIANS FOUND THE DRAIN LINE FOR THE WATER SEPARATORS CRACKED AND LEAKING, ALLOWING LIGHT, OILY WATER TO MIX INTO THE ACM AIR. COALESCER SOCKS WERE CLEANED, DRAIN LINE REPLACED, AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS FOUND NO SMOKE/HAZE ENTERING INTO THE AIRCRAFT.

THE LH MAIN LANDING GEAR ACTUATOR WAS REPLACED, AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS COMPLETED SATISFACTORILY.
ON SEPTEMBER 3RD, 2021 AIRCRAFT TAIL NUMBER N10RZ WHILE FLYING AT LEVEL CRUISE ON FLIGHT FROM KPBI TO KLNK, L HYD PUMP PRESSURE LOW ILLUMINATED INTERMITTENTLY. CREW FOLLOWED QRH CHECKLIST AND MONITORED HYD SYSTEM. APPROXIMATELY 30 MINUTES LATER BOTH L AND R HYD PUMP PRESSURE LOW LIGHTS ILLUMINATED FOLLOWED BY AN AUDIBLE NOISE CONSISTENT WITH PUMP CAVITATION. QRH DIRECTED CREW TO LAND AND EMERGENCY DECLARED. AIRCRAFT LANDED SAFELY AT KMEM WITH NO FURTHER INCIDENT. TECHNICIAN FOUND THE LH ENGINE DRIVEN HYDRAULIC PUMP FAILED, DRAINING HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR, AND LEADING TO THE RH ENGINE DRIVEN HYDRAULIC PUMP TO CAVITATE AND FAIL SHORTLY AFTER. BOTH PUMPS WERE CHANGED, HYDRAULIC SYSTEM INSPECTED FOR DEBRIS, AND OPERATIONAL CHECKS COMPLETED SATISFACTORILY.
DESCENDING FROM FL270 TO FL160 AND LEVELING OFF, FLIGHT CREW EXPERIENCED A SIGNIFICANT LOSS OF POWER TO BOTH ENGINES. AIRCRAFT WAS CONFIGURED AT TBL FOR LANDING. MAX ITT INDICATED 753 DEGREES. N1 INDICATED 82.5 PERCENT. CREW WAS ONLY ABLE TO MAINTAIN A MAXIMUM SPEED OF 140KTS. IN LEVEL FLIGHT, REGARDLESS OF THROTTLE SETTINGS. WITH PITCH DOWN, CREW WAS ABLE TO ACHIEVE 156KTS.
FLIGHT CREW EXPERIENCED A STRONG FIRE/SMOKE SMELL DESCENDING THROUGH FL180. FLIGHT CREW SHUT LEFT PACK OFF PER CHECKLIST, SMELL WENT AWAY. TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND THE LEFT HAND AIR CYCLE MACHINE SEIZED. A SERVICEABLE UNIT WAS INSTALLED WITH NOT FURTHER ANOMALIES NOTED.
RIGHT ENGINE OIL TEMP RED-LINED IN FLIGHT. FLIGHT CREW WERE ABLE TO KEEP BELOW REDLINE WITH REDUCED POWER ENGINE FIRE LIGHT ILLUMINATED WITH HIGH OIL TEMP. FIRE LIGHT EXTINGUISHED WITH REDUCED POWER SETTING. INSPECTION OF THE ENGINE DETERMINED THE OUTBOARD BLEED AIR LINE HAD NOT BEEN INSTALLED AND THE BLANKING PLATE REMAINED INSTALLED FROM THE FIVE POINT RUNS PERFORMED JUST PRIOR TO RETURN TO SERVICE AFTER INSTALLATION OF THE ENGINE.
