CREW REPORTS LOUD CABIN SQUEALING NOISE DURING CLIMB BETWEEN 6000 FT AND 7000 FT DURING ENGINE AND WING ANTI ICE SELF-TEST. THE NOISE LASTED 5-10 SECONDS AND DISSIPATED ENTIRELY AFTER SELF-TEST CONCLUSION. DURING DESCENT, CREW TESTED ANTI-ICE AT DIFFERENT ALTITUDES AND CONFIGURATIONS AND CONCLUDED THAT NOISE WOULD ONLY PRESENT ITSELF WHEN ANTI-ICE ALL WAS ACTIVE BELOW 12,000 FT. NOISE BECAME MORE PROMINENT AT LOWER ALTITUDES AND WAS HEARD ONLY ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE AIRCRAFT. REPLACED LH WING CENTER LEADING-EDGE PICCOLO TUBE. REPLACED LT WING INBOARD LEADING-EDGE ASSEMBLY. NO DEFECTS NOTED DURING AND LEAK CHECKS OF WING ANTI-ICE SYSTEM. WORK COMPLETED IAW 57-40-00 + 30-12-00.

AIR TURN BACK DUE TO PITCH TRIM ACTUATION ON PILOT SIDE WORKED UNTIL REACHING 3.0 TRIM SETTING THEN STOPPED FUNCTIONING DURING TAKEOFF. PITCH TRIM WAS SET TO 5.3. CREW TRIED TO MOVE TWO TIMES WITH THE PILOTâS CONTROL TO NO AVAIL, THEN ACTIVATED CO-PILOT CONTROL AND MOVED THE TRIM SETTING TO UNDER 3.0. UNDER 3.0, THE PILOT TRIM WORKED NORMAL IN BOTH UP AND DOWN MOVEMENT. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AT KTEB. FOUND RELAY MOUNT BRACKET NOT PROPERLY GROUNDED TO AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE. RE-BONDED TO AIRCRAFT STRUCTURE AND REPLACED RELAY K211. RE-RACKED JB3 AND VERIFIED PIN CONDITION AND RETENTION. WORK PERFORMED IAW WM 27-12-07 AND AMM 24-63-09. OPS CHECK GOOD AT THIS TIME.
DIVERTED TO KMRY DUE TO AN ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL IN THE CABIN. DURING CRUISE, THE PIC NOTED A RED X APPEAR OVER COM2 WHICH THEN EXTINGUISHED AND REAPPEARED MULTIPLE TIMES SHORTLY THEREAFTER. THE CREW OBSERVED SMOKE EMANATING FROM THE GLARESHIELD PROMPTING THEM TO DON THEIR OXYGEN MASKS. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REPLACED GIA 2 IAW EMB 505 AMM 31-41-05. ALL FOLLOW-ON CHECKS PASSED.
COFFEE POT OVER HEATED CAUSING STRONG BURNING SMELL IN FLIGHT. CREW PULLED AND COLLARED HOT JUG 1 AND 2 CIRCUIT BREAKERS. COFFEE POT WAS THEN SECURED IN AFT BAGGAGE AREA. REPLACED COFFEE POT IAW EMB-505 AMM 25-31-02. HOT JUG 1 AND 2 CIRCUIT BREAKERS RESET AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO NORMAL CONFIGURATION.
REJECTED TAKEOFF DUE TO PACK TEMP HIGH CAS, PACK FAIL CAS, AND VISIBLE SMOKE IN CABIN. CREW TAXIED BACK TO THE FBO WITHOUT INCIDENT. FOUND BROKEN BLADE ON ACM. REPLACED ACM AND PRECOOLER. PERFORMED OPS AND BLEED CHECKS. ALL CHECKS SATISFACTORY AT THIS TIME. WORK COMPLETED IAW CL 300 AMM 21-51-15, 21-52-13, 21-52-00.
DURING CLIMB A SMALL AMOUNT OF SMOKE BEGAN EMANATING FROM THE LOWER LEFT CORNER OF THE CAPTAIN-SIDE WINDSHIELD NEAR THE CONTROL PANEL AREA. THE CREW OBSERVED THAT THE ODOR WAS METALLIC AND CONSISTENT WITH AN ELECTRICAL OR HEATING SOURCE AND IMMEDIATELY CEASED AFTER THE WINDSHIELD HEAT SYSTEM WAS DEACTIVATED. AIRCRAFT LANDED AT KMDW WITHOUT INCIDENT. REPLACED LEFT WINDSHIELD ASSEMBLY. PERFORMED SATISFACTORY WINDSHIELD ANTI-ICE CHECKS AND PRESSURIZATION LEAK CHECKS WITH NO FURTHER DEFECTS NOTED IAW BD-100 AMM 56-11-01.

DURING CRUISE, CREW LOST TWO SMART PROBES. AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED & DECISION MADE TO CONTINUE TO THEIR DESTINATION: KDAL. ON APPROACH, TOWER NOTIFIED CREW THAT IT APPEARED THAT A PANEL WAS MISSING FROM THE NOSE SECTIONT. ACFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AT KDAL. FOUND THE RAT ATTEMPTED & FAILED TO DEPLOY. STOWAGE DOOR WAS FULLY OPEN, BUT RAT EGRESS BLOCKED WHEN A FAN BLADE CONTACTED THE EDGE OF THE DOOR OPENING. PERFORMED HIDDEN DAMAGE INSPECTION OF THE RAT BAY IAW AMM 05-41-00. FOUND DENT ON THE RAT DOOR LANDING SKIN NEAR DOOR SEAL FWD LOWER AREA. PERFORMED A PERMANENT REPAIR OF THE RAT DOOR LANDING SKIN NEAR DOOR SEAL FWD LOWER AREA IAW SRM 51-10-05, 51-10-03, 51-22-013, 51-22-04, & 51-22-05. DIVERTED DUE TO A TRIPPED CB LABELED "OVRHD" ON THE COCKPIT LIGHTS SECTION OF THE RH CB PANEL AND AN ELECTRICAL BURNING SMELL REPORTEDLY COMING FROM BENEATH THE PILOT'S SEAT. CREW FOLLOWED THE QRH, WHICH APPEARED TO ISOLATE THE ISSUE. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AT KCLT. TECHNICIAN INSPECTED THE BACKSIDE OF THE RH CB PANEL AND FOUND NO SIGNS OF SHORTED WIRES. AFTER POWERING UP THE AIRCRAFT AND RESETTING THE "OVRHD" CB, TECHNICIAN OPERATED BOTH OVERHEAD LIGHTING DIMMER SWITCHES THROUGH ALL POSITIONS AND LEFT THE LIGHTS ON FULL BRIGHT FOR 15 MINUTES. THE CB DID NOT TRIP AGAIN. FAULT COULD NOT BE DUPLICATED; NO DEFECTS NOTED IAW AMM 24-60-01.
DURING CLIMB OUT FROM KSJC, THE SIC NOTICED A SMOKE SMELL AND VISIBLE LIGHT SMOKE. CREW TURNED OFF ENGINE BLEEDS WHICH REDUCED THE QUANTITY OF SMOKE. THE CREW DID NOT DON OXYGEN MASKS DUE TO THE SHORT FLIGHT DURATION. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT AT KNUQ. TROUBLESHOOTING TRACED THE ISSUE TO A SEIZED AIR CYCLE MACHINE. REPLACED THE AIR CYCLE MACHINE WITH A REPAIRED UNIT IAW AMM 21-52-13. OPS CHECK AND LEAK CHECKS GOOD.

A GND SPOILER FAIL CAS MESSAGE APPEARED, AND THE SPOILER BOX INDICATED A FAILURE. REPLACED FCE #2 IAW AMM 27-03-01-400-801. PERFORMED SPOILER RIGGING IAW AMM 27-60-00/800-801. OPS CHECK GOOD WITH NO DEFECTS FOUND.
DURING CLIMB THE #2 ENGINE ROLLED BACK APPROXIMATELY 0.2-0.3 EPR. POWER RESTORED WITHIN 2-3 SECONDS WITHOUT ANY CAS MESSAGES OR UNUSUAL PARAMETERS NOTED. APPROXIMATELY 2 MINUTES LATER, #2 ENGINE ROLLED BACK AGAIN BY 0.2-0.3 EPR AND RESTORED WITHIN 2-3 SECONDS, FOLLOWED BY A CYAN R FADEC FAULT MESSAGE. THE CAS MESSAGE CLEARED FROM THE EICAS APPROXIMATELY 10 MINUTES LATER. NO FURTHER ABNORMAL POWER INDICATIONS OR CAS MESSAGES OCCURRED DURING THE REMAINDER OF THE FLIGHT. OPS CHECK GOOD WITH NO DEFECTS NOTED.
ON TAXI OUT, CREW RECEIVED PITCH TRIM BACKUP FAIL CAS. CREW PERFORMED MULTIPLE SOFT RESETS USING CIRCUIT BREAKERS WITH NO SUCCESS. AFTER RETURNING TO THE FBO, A FULL ELECTRICAL RESET WAS PERFORMED, BUT THE BACKUP PITCH TRIM FAIL CAS MESSAGE REMAINED. REPLACED FCE1 IAW AMM 27-03-01. OPS CHECK GOOD WITH NO DEFECTS FOUND.
PILOTâS WINDSHIELD STARTED TO ARC AND THEN SHATTERED WHILE ON DESCENT INTO KTME. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. POST-FLIGHT INSPECTION REVEALED THE PILOTâS WINDSHIELD WAS MELTED AT THE ARCING AREA. REPLACED THE LH WINDSHIELD IAW G450 AMM 56-11-01. REPLACED THE LEFT WINDSHIELD HEAT CONTROLLER IAW G450 AMM 30-41-01. LEAK CHECKS AND OPS CHECKS GOOD.
PITCH TRIM BACKUP FAIL CAS MESSAGE DURING SYSTEM TEST. REPLACED FCE1 IAW AMM 27-03-01. RIGGING AND OPS CHECK GOOD.
AIRCRAFT EXPERIENCED BRAKE FAILURE WHILE HOLDING SHORT OF RUNWAY 26R, WITH BRAKE FAIL CAS MESSAGE ILLUMINATING AND THE AIRCRAFT BEGINNING TO ROLL. CREW MANEUVERED THE AIRCRAFT AWAY FROM THE HOLD SHORT LINE AND ONTO THE RAMP TO REMAIN CLEAR OF THE TAXIWAY. THE PARKING BRAKE WAS USED TO STOP THE AIRCRAFT ABRUPTLY, PREVENTING REENTRY INTO THE ACTIVE TAXIWAY. HYDRAULIC SYSTEM AND EMERGENCY BRAKE ACCUMULATOR PRESSURE WERE NORMAL, WITH THE HYDRAULIC RESERVOIR PROPERLY CHECKED AND WITHIN LIMITS. TROUBLESHOOTING LED TO A FAULTING BRAKE CONTROL MODULE (BCM). REPLACED BCM IAW PH300 AMM 32-41-07. PERFORMED HYDRAULIC SYSTEM BLEEDING IAW 29-10-00 AND BRAKE FUNCTION CHECK IAW 32-41-00. BRAKE FUNCTIONAL TEST WAS SATISFACTORY.
REPLACED FCE #1 DUE TO PITCH TRIM BACKUP FAIL CAS POSTED DURING FLIGHT. WORK COMPLETED IAW EMB 505 AMM 27-03-01. OPS CHECK GOOD. RIG CHECKS GOOD. NO DEFECTS FOUND.
DIVERTED DUE TO GEN 2 BUS OFF CAS AND RELATED MESSAGES WHILE CLIMBING THROUGH FL430. THE SIC RAN THE CHECKLIST AND ATTEMPTED TO RESET THE GENERATOR, BUT THE ISSUE PERSISTED. THE CREW DESCENDED TO FL310, DECLARED AN EMERGENCY, AND DIVERTED TO KRDU. AIRCRAFT LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. FOUND #2 GENERATOR SHAFT SHEARED. REPLACED #2 GENERATOR WITH CUSTOMER-SUPPLIED NEW GENERATOR IAW EMB-550 AMM 24-31-01. OPS CHECK GOOD
DIVERTED DUE TO CPCS LOW AIRFLOW DURING CRUISE TO KRME. CABIN ALTITUDE INITIALLY AT 6,500'. CREW FOLLOWED AFM PROCEDURES, TURNING ON WING ANTI-ICE, WHICH CLEARED THE CAUTION. AFTER CONTACTING MAINTENANCE, CREW SWITCHED TO MANUAL CONTROL AND TURNED ANTI-ICE OFF, CAUSING RAPID CABIN ALTITUDE CLIMB TO 10,000'. EMERGENCY DESCENT INITIATED, CREW DONNED OXYGEN MASKS, AND CABIN ALTITUDE STABILIZED AT 15,000' AGL. AIRCRAFT DIVERTED TO KTEB AND LANDED SAFELY. REPLACED CABIN PRESSURE CONTROLLER IAW G450 AMM 21-31-01. PERFORMED SYSTEM AND PRESSURIZATION CONTROL CHECKS IAW G450 MM 21-31-00; OPS CHECK SATISFACTORY.
